• What is the Relationships Win campaign?

The Relationships Win campaign equips church leaders to embrace and act on a critical truth: caring Christian adults are the #1 factor in forming lasting faith in teenagers. We're helping pastors and priests leverage the greatest resource they already have—the caring adults sitting in their pews—and mobilize them for relationship-driven faith formation. Through accessible resources, training, and a national movement of churches, we're helping pastors to shift from program-based youth ministry to a culture where adults walk alongside young people in everyday life, not just inside church buildings. If you want to learn more about the research that informs our perspective, please see Future of Faith’s white paper on relational discipleship, as well as Springtide Research Institute’s Belonging Report, and research on what helps faith stick for teenagers and insights on Gen Alpha from the Fuller Youth Institute.

  • Who is behind Relationships Win?

Relationships Win is coordinated by TENx10, a collaborative discipleship movement of over 200 diverse US ministry organizations and denominations working together to make faith matter more for ten million young people over ten years—in the spirit of John 10:10. Find out more about TENx10 in the About Us section of our website.

  • Who is this campaign for?

This campaign is for senior pastors, priests, and church leaders who care about the lasting faith of teenagers in their faith community. Whether your ministry with youth is thriving, struggling, or just beginning, research shows that programs alone aren't enough to form faith that lasts into adulthood. If you want to see teenagers in your church develop authentic, lifelong faith and not just attend youth events, this campaign will equip you and your team with a practical path forward. Best of all, our ready-to-use resources equip you to activate your staff and volunteers to mobilize caring adults in your church without adding to your already-full plate.

  • Why is this campaign focused on senior leaders rather than youth ministers?

Youth leaders are already doing incredible work, often with limited resources and support. This campaign focuses on senior leaders because lasting change requires leadership from the top. Senior pastors set the vision and culture for the entire congregation, and they have the unique influence to mobilize caring adults across all age groups and ministries. When senior leaders champion relational discipleship, it becomes a church-wide movement rather than just another program. That said, senior leaders should absolutely involve the people in your congregation already engaged in youth discipleship—especially youth leaders and parents—in this process. The most effective transformation happens when everyone is aligned and working together to create a culture where the whole congregation invests in the next generation.

  • Is Relationships Win affiliated with a specific denomination?

No. While this campaign is grounded in Christian faith and Jesus-centered discipleship, it's designed to serve church leaders across denominational lines. We partner with pastors and priests, churches, and Christian leaders from diverse theological traditions who share a common commitment: helping teenagers develop lasting faith through relational discipleship radically focused on Jesus. Our resources are designed to be accessible and flexible enough to work within any denominational tradition or cultural community.

  • Is this meant to replace youth ministry?

No. This isn't about eliminating youth groups, Sunday school, or youth events. Those gatherings remain valuable spaces for community and learning. What we're saying is that programs alone aren't enough to form lasting faith. Research shows that caring Christian adults walking alongside teenagers in everyday life is the primary driver of lifelong faith. This campaign helps you add the relational layer that makes everything else more effective. Think of it as strengthening your youth ministry by mobilizing your entire congregation, not replacing what's already in place.
